YOUTH DYEING
Students explore the fundamentals of color theory and how to dye textiles. They learn natural dye techniques, exploring how to achieve color through foods and plants familiar to them. They also use synthetic and fiber reactive dyes, learning how to mix and apply color. Students explore bundle dyeing, shibori, and resist techniques.
